And look how they fool us by playing with our obsession.
Midday carried a story on Kareena Kapoor's alleged break up with her baby-faced boyfriend Shahid Kapur, citing the reason as Kareena's obsession with Chote Nawab, Saif Ali Khan. Shahid was abroad when the story was published. But when he came back the couple denied any link-up or break-up and went hand-in-hand at media gatherings. It is believed that Kareena herself called the Midday film reporter and divulged this little secret of break up and the fresh link-up!

May be the stars feel the fans are fools or may be they want to fool us!
I wonder how they misuse media for their own selfish private reasons. Sources say, earlier even Aishwarya Rai called Midday reporter and announced her breakup with Vivek Oberoi! And it was shown as if the little secrets leaked out of sources closer to the star!

May be serves us good for our obsession with stars! Do we need to care a damn for their breakups or linkups? Ofcourse it makes a chatpata reading and media loves it. But media loves it because we love it. But why don't we care more about these stars' acting ability? Why don't we want to know about a director's film making techniques?

Bollywood is more glamorous than cinema-centric. The focus is elsewhere.
But I'm optimistic, better days will prevail! Someday a film maker's movie will be a better news than a star's illicit affair!
